Job Title: Land Surveying CAD Drafter
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveying CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and maps for land surveying projects using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of land surveying principles, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with surveyors and engineers.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed CAD drawings and maps based on survey data and field notes, including topographic maps, boundary surveys, and construction layouts.Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings and project deliverables.Interpret and analyze survey data to create accurate and detailed representations of surveyed areas.Perform quality control checks on drawings and data to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards and company procedures.Maintain and update CAD files and project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.Stay updated with the latest CAD software and surveying technologies, and integrate new tools and techniques into the drafting process.Occasionally assist with field surveys and data collection as needed.Essential SkillsAssociate's degree or certification in CAD drafting, land surveying, or a related field.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.) and a strong understanding of land surveying principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and data interpretation.Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Previous experience in land surveying or CAD drafting is preferred.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with GIS software is a plus.Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.4+ years of work experience ideally in land development or site civil.Energy and passion for engineering.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00
