Land Survey Cad Technician
Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Survey CAD Technician to assist our surveying team with drafting and mapping efforts. The individual will be responsible for tasks related to Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Deed Research, Topographic Surveys, and Control Network Surveys.

ResponsibilitiesPerform work primarily in the office, with occasional field visits to assess and note specifications for designs.Utilize computer skills for the submittal of daily files, downloading of data, preparation and organization of field sketches and digital photographs, completion of daily checklists and timesheets, and vehicle navigation.Demonstrate proficiency in survey software, particularly Civil 3D.Exhibit strong self-motivational and organizational skills.Perform survey computations and platting, drawing from field experience.Essential SkillsProficiency in Civil 3D or comparable survey software.Experience with survey data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations.Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.Experience with survey computations and platting.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of surveying experience.Associate's degree or higher (preferred).Work Environment

The role involves a mix of office work and occasional field visits. The work schedule includes working from the office on Mondays and Fridays, with the option to work from home on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
