Job Title: Land Surveyor

Job Description

The Professional Land Surveyor will be responsible for conducting precise land measurements and mapping to determine property boundaries. This role involves working with advanced surveying equipment and software to collect, analyze, and interpret geographic information. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surveying principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Land Surveyor must be committed to following safety procedures, preparing field drawings, calculating geographic positions, and producing high-quality surveys. Additionally, the role includes searching legal records, calibrating and maintaining survey equipment, and developing client relationships. Mentoring and training staff, supervising field crew, and leading the preparation of proposals and cost estimates are also key responsibilities.

Work Environment
