Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Surveyor to oversee the operation of a field survey crew. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, safety, and efficiency of survey operations, while maintaining positive public relations and meeting regulatory requirements. This role requires organizing fieldwork, directing crew members, maintaining equipment, and accurately collecting and delivering field data.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and manage a field survey crew.Ensure the quality, accuracy, and clarity of survey work.Meet regulatory requirements and maintain positive public relations.Organize and direct fieldwork and crew members.Maintain a safe work environment and protect equipment and vehicles.Accurately and efficiently collect field data and locate features.Deliver collected data to the office.Maintain accurate records of work and expenses.Travel overnight occasionally as required.Perform extensive walking outdoors in various terrains and weather conditions.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED.4 years of progressive experience in survey field operations, with at least 1 years as a survey crew chief.Proficiency with survey equipment, including total stations, data collectors, and GPS equipment.Good technical skills, including process orientation, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
