Job Description:

Manage all stages of land use and zoning projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with legal standards and municipal requirements. Act as the central contact for stakeholders, including municipal boards, consultants, and community groups, to facilitate smooth project progression and approvals. Prepare and present detailed reports to city councils, planning boards, and other public entities to communicate project objectives and updates. Represent our client at public meetings, community forums, and regulatory discussions, occasionally leading sessions to gather support and address concerns. Provide expert input on zoning, environmental regulations, and compliance, guiding projects through complex approval processes. Collaborate closely with legal teams, architects, and engineering partners to align project objectives with local regulations and community expectations. Manage timelines for project review processes, maintaining relationships with key municipal contacts to expedite approvals. Conduct thorough zoning and property analyses to support site acquisition and draft development agreements for new projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Real Estate Development, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in land use planning, zoning, and project management within the real estate sector. 1 year of new construction, residential stick built experience required. Strong understanding of municipal land use laws and familiarity with zoning and planning protocols. Proven experience presenting projects to zoning boards and planning councils, with strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, with a keen eye for detail and advanced online research capabilities.
