**Your Opportunity**
Stantec Planning and Landscape Architecture is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Naples team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading design teams on a variety of commercial, parks and recreation, municipal, residential, hospitality, roadway, urban design, waterfront, and greenway projects. You will work with multiple project teams in developing creative and sustainable design solutions. This opportunity may be based in our Naples, Florida office and offers the opportunity to participate on teams throughout the Gulf Region, the Southeast United States, North America, and internationally.
As a Landscape Architect, you will work on large projects of high complexity. You will work closely with clients, designers and construction staff, peer professionals, vendors, and municipal agents to oversee the arc of a project to successful completion – from identifying and researching opportunities, leading business development pursuit teams, procuring and leading the work, to representing our team during construction administration.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical aspects of assigned projects.
+ Performing or assisting Project Managers with invoicing, managing and monitoring project financial performance and utilizing our custom project management dashboard.
+ Preparing plans and reports, writing proposals, budget monitoring and tracking industry trends.
+ Completing tasks and delegating specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate.
+ Ensuring effective communication and coordination on projects between other project participants, including planners, architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and clients.
+ Authority to sign and seal on design/plans and project forms for agencies and RFIs.
+ Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Technical expert in all relevant areas of design and various design methods.
+ Possesses excellent time management skills and a thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting, and efficient use of technology.
+ Effective communication skills and ability to lead teams.
+ Thorough understanding of codes, legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
+ Proficient in relevant drafting/design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
+ Proficiency in hand drawings
**Education and Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree or Landscape Architecture.
+ Licensed by state of Florida in Landscape Architecture or equivalent Licensure.
+ 8 years of Landscape Architecture experience.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
