Job Title: Landscape Architect Job Description Perform landscape architecture design under the close supervision of a senior landscape architect, including hardscape detailing and grading with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Participate in project-related meetings to coordinate activities and assist with the preparation of landscape architecture deliverables, including models, drawings, and other project-related documentation. Participate in field surveys, condition assessments, and site investigations. Perform construction administration-related tasks, including submittal review, responding to RFIs, and observation of construction-related activities. Responsibilities + Design landscape architecture projects under supervision, focusing on hardscape detailing and grading using AutoCAD Civil 3D. + Attend project-related meetings to coordinate activities and assist with deliverable preparation. + Conduct field surveys, condition assessments, and site investigations. + Perform construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews, RFI responses, and observation of construction activities. Essential Skills + Proficiency in landscape design and architecture. + Experience with AutoCAD and BIM (Civil 3D and GIS are a plus). + Knowledge of ornamental and native plants of the Midwest. + Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various internal clients. + Self-starter with a desire to learn the industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university. + 2-4 years of professional landscape architecture experience, focusing on public and recreation markets.
