Position Overview

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on experience 

Summary: The CLS Landscape Crew Leader is responsible for the safety, leadership, and productivity of a landscape crew in the maintenance, care, and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services, working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.

Job Duties

Responsibilities:

Lead, assist, and train the landscape crew in maintaining and enhancing turf and grounds. Conduct warm-up exercises, job briefings, and safety meetings. Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to crew members. Set up work sites, assign tasks, monitor crew performance and perform final site walk-throughs. Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment. Provide excellent customer service to customers. Debrief daily assignments and collaborate with management. Adhere to all safety rules and report any incidents. Track and report team hours. Qualifications

   

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age to be a Department of Transportation (DOT) certified driver for specific vehicles or equipment. Valid Driver’s License. Class B CDL valuable, but not required. Ability to complete required safety courses upon hire. Ability to complete Davey Career Development Program (CDP) books. Ability to acquire applicator licenses as necessary per state requirements. Ability to operate power equipment. One year of experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance. Additional Information
