About the Role
We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Landscape Designer with our Landscape Architectural Team ideally located at our Endwell, NY office, or any of our other NY offices located in Schenectady, Vernon or Syracuse.
Qualifications
The desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience. Successful completion of sections of the LARE exam is preferred. Candidate must possess a solid understanding of the design process and have strong proven graphic, technical and organizational skills, including experience with varied applications such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion 3D, Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of site engineering, stormwater, grading, plant and building materials is preferred. The candidate must have a willingness to learn, ability to work independently and as a team.

+ Working collaboratively with colleagues and other Delta staff in fieldwork and the preparation of design concepts and site plans, to include developing color renderings, prepare construction & engineering documents and assist with estimates and reporting.
+ Participating in and documenting observations from site visits/inspections during construction.
+ Additional proficiencies in HydroCAD, InfraWorks, Civil 3D, a plus.
+ Preparing for and participating in client meetings/presentations.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgement.
+ Excellent and professional communication skills both written and verbal.

Pay range and compensation package
Hiring Salary Range: $58,000-65,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
