Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Lead to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production requirements related to landscaping, including but not limited to safety, quality, administration, scheduling, cost controls, client/ subcontractor/ craft communication and management. They will have a technical understanding of the scope being managed and the responsibility to ensure all work is completed in budget and on schedule. 

What You'll Be Doing:

Ensure the Construction is in full compliance with the Project Agreement, including matters relating to quality, safety, environment, and life cycle performance, such as Project’s ECO Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and all applicable legislationDirect the planning and construction of the associated work including the design and procurement interfacesDirect the activities of construction superintendents and coordinators assigned to the work scopeAccountable for ensuring the information in the Matrix is regularly updated, particularly related to forecast and actual schedule datesWorking with the Procurement Team, responsible for administering the tendering and awards process for subcontracted services and supplies as it relates to constructionPrepare monthly Cost Reports and provide updates to the Commercial Team to facilitate timely invoicing to the CitResponsible for ensuring all work is completed in conformance with the Project Agreement and that all staff and subcontractors under their care follow the MIP policies and procedures

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Post secondary education in a construction related filed, or the equivalent work-related experience Experience with landscaping and equipment operation Heavy civil construction landscaping experience, preferably in LRT or similar public infrastructure projects Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in construction-related or landscape architecture discipline, or equivalent work experience and valid trade credential Ability to problem-solve, lead by example and respond to urgent requests in a timely mannerPhysically able to navigate the terrain of an in-process construction site year around
