Laser Cutter Operator - 2nd Shift
**Job Title: Laser Cutter Operator** **Job Description** We're seeking a skilled individual for a role that involves efficient setup, adjustment, maintenance, and operation of laser systems in accordance with production sequences, part drawings, and work orders. This role requires accurate execution of setups, a comprehensive grasp of machine control, and the ability to perform routine maintenance. You will need to be able to manipulate files as this is a custom shop handling around seven different projects during the day. Proficiency in CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator for adjusting projects is essential, primarily working with the person Laser and mainly acrylic materials, maintaining a 1/1000" tolerance. **Responsibilities** + Interpret technical instructions and work orders to prepare goods for shipment. + Execute part production in line with drawing specifications by setting up, operating, and adjusting laser cutting machines and their controls. + Manage inventory of supplies and tools used in the laser department, adhering to company procedures. + Strive to meet or exceed job time standards whenever possible. + Troubleshoot machine control and part program issues. + Measure parts, inspect files, and maintain a keen eye for detail. + Uphold a clean and secure work environment. + Load and unload materials onto machines, verifying adherence to required specifications and making equipment adjustments as needed. + Address quality control issues within the department. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator. + Experience with laser cutting systems. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings. + Strong attention to detail and precision. + Experience with machine setup, adjustment, and maintenance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of inventory management. + Ability to troubleshoot machine control issues. + Strong organizational skills. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a clean manufacturing environment with a very welcoming atmosphere.
