**Job Posting: CNC Laser Operator** **Location: Farmingdale** **Job Type:** Full-time **Overview:** in laser operation and machine setup, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** + **Operate CNC Laser Machine** to cut and shape sheet metal with precision. + **Load stock into the machine** (up to 75 lbs) and **unload pallets** of sheet metal for ongoing production. + **Adjust cutting settings** for different gauges of metal to ensure high-quality output. + **Set up and clean the machine’s lens and nozzles** for optimal performance. + **Calibrate the CNC machine** to correct heat, settings, and other specifications based on job requirements. + **Troubleshoot machine errors** and make adjustments as necessary to maintain production flow. + **Read blueprints and schematics** provided by the engineering team to accurately cut and assemble sheet metal components. + **Measure nodes** and verify dimensions using **calipers and micrometers** . + **Operate forklift** to safely move sheet metal materials around the production area. + Strictly **follow safety protocols** to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. **Skills and Qualifications:** + **3+ years of experience** as a CNC Laser Operator or in a similar role. + Proficient in **CNC laser operation** and machine setup. + Experience in **production environments** and **sheet metal fabrication** . + Strong knowledge of **blueprint reading** and schematics interpretation. + Ability to use **precision measuring instruments** (calipers, micrometers). + **Forklift operation** experience is required. + **Troubleshooting skills** and ability to resolve machine issues efficiently. + Familiarity with machine calibration and **laser cutting settings** . + **Intermediate-level experience** with CNC Laser Machines. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in **laser cutting operations** in manufacturing or fabrication industries. + Ability to **work independently** and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. **What We Offer:** + Competitive compensation and benefits package. + Opportunities for career growth and advancement. + Safe, collaborative, and engaging work environment.
