**Job Title: 2nd Shift Laser Operator $20/hr (Plain City, OH)** **Job Description** We are seeking a motivated and dedicated machine operator to join our growing team as a laser operator. This role involves operating flat laser or tube laser machinery, assembling parts, and handling various production tasks in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and advance within the company. **Shift & Pay** + 2nd shift 2:45pm-11pm + Monday-Friday + 30 minute paid lunch **Responsibilities** + Operate laser and machine equipment + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production + Assemble sheet metal parts following detailed instructions + Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks + Inspect parts using micrometers and calipers to ensure quality + Maintain a clean and organized workspace + Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times **Essential Skills** + Experience with general production and machine operation + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools + Knowledge of laser operation + Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in metal fabrication is a plus + Strong attention to detail + Excellent problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Why Work Here?** Join our team and be part of a rapidly growing company that values teaching new skills to its employees. The work environment is fairly clean but not climate controlled.
