**Job Title: Laser Operator** **Job Description** As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, checking out programming, and operating CO2 gas laser devices. Your role will involve programming all machine axes, coordinating or operating any support equipment associated with the primary machine, and diagnosing and making necessary adjustments using various measuring methods. **Responsibilities** + Program all machine axes. + Program, coordinate, or operate any support equipment associated with the primary machine. + Diagnose and adjust needed changes using Romer, layout, check gauge, assembly fixture, or any other required measuring method. + Determine what machine is to be utilized, how parts are to be run, confirm part number, and quantity to be produced using provided documents. + Confirm that the engineering change number corresponds with the work order, layout, and print. + Follow machine pre-operation checking procedures. + Perform all required preventative maintenance. + Clean and maintain machine optics. + Inspect parts produced per company protocol. + Follow daily production schedules. + Ensure correct cutting parameters are used. + Operate additional support equipment. + Move production materials as needed. + Travel for training may be required. **Essential Skills** + Experience in laser operation + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints + Machine operation skills + Troubleshooting skills + Programming skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to perform preventative maintenance + Experience in cleaning and maintaining machine optics + Inspection skills + Understanding of daily production schedules + Knowledge of correct cutting parameters + Ability to operate additional support equipment + Willingness to travel for training **Why Work Here?** As a full-time employee, you will enjoy numerous benefits including 72 hours of combined paid vacation, personal time, and flex time in your first year.
