**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** As a Machine Operator, you will work with advanced machinery to process sheet metals using 2 Axis machines with a Fanuc Controller. You will receive training on the majority of the job duties, including the use of inspection equipment and performing tasks as directed by the supervisor. **Responsibilities** + Operate 2 Axis machines with a Fanuc Controller to process sheet metals. + Utilize self-loading sheets with a hoist. + Program and nest parts to optimize sheet usage. + Use inspection equipment to ensure quality control. + Perform all duties as directed by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + Experience with machine operation, particularly with Fanuc Controllers. + Proficiency in working with sheet metal. + Familiarity with micrometers and calipers. + Understanding of ISO standards. + At least 1 year of experience in a metal manufacturing environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks. + Experience in fabrication, welding, and metal stamping is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Our client offers a supportive and growth-oriented work environment with benefits such as regular raises every 3 months while in the union, a 401k match, and 10 paid holidays. The facility spans 300,000 square feet and includes a full in-house tool department. The company has a family-owned history since 1947 and operates as a union shop offering a 3-month contract-to-union pathway. The available shift is the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Circle Pines, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
