**Job Title: Laser Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a dedicated Laser Operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and attention to detail. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. **Responsibilities** + Report to work on time and maintain excellent attendance. + Keep the work area clean and safe. + Establish proper stop location and adjust the laser beam focal point. + Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. + Perform prescribed maintenance as required. + Conduct all dimensional inspections. + Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor. + Perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require. + Commit to following safety rules. **Essential Skills** + Laser operation + Blueprint reading + CNC laser operation + Sheet metal handling + Fabrication + Using calipers + Performing inspections **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong work ethic + Previous experience is a plus but will train the right person + Strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement + Helpful to have CNC operating + Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools + Competent at basic shop math + Basic computer and reading capability + Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments + Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and ability to multi-task + Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds **Why Work Here?** We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are our top priorities.
