Responsibilities Familiar with operating a computer numerical control (CNC) laser cutting machine in a safe, productive manner, ensuring all quality standards are met or exceeded.Operates single or multiple CNC laser cutting machine, including loading raw material and ensuring quality by maintaining focal point adjustment, feed rate, power, and other parametersLabels/Tag finished parts accurately and delivers them to designated areasMonitors laser/Python operations to ensure machine is functioning properly and safely; records machine code errors and communicates performance issues to the supervisorUses inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measureDeburrs and cleans partsMaintains quality, productivity, and safety recordsMaintains supplies and performs regular preventive maintenanceAssists other operators with operating, inspecting, and cleaning machines and parts Maintains cleanliness of work areaEmployees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

 

Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent preferredExperience operating CNCFamiliar with operating a computer numerical control (CNC) laser cutting machine in a safe, productive manner, ensuring all quality standards are met or exceeded.Licensed forklift truck operatorExperience minimum 2 year operating craneTeam-oriented and collaborativeAbility to work under time constraints and meet deadlinesGood time management skillsAbility to work in a fast paced environment Ability to read a tape measure and micrometer Knowledge of CNC laser-cutting operations
