Job Title: Lathe Machinist
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled large lathe machinist to join our team in Westbrook. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a large lathe with parts up to 40 feet long. Your duties will include troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, performing tool changes, and conducting other necessary maintenance tasks. This position also requires experience with cranes and rigging to handle the large parts being machined, as well as strong math and geometry skills.

Work Environment

This position is based at a smaller site in Westbrook with an all-weld shop. The work environment includes moderate noise levels, and steel-toed shoes are required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00
