Lathes CNC Machinist
**Job Title: Lathes CNC Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Lathes CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC turning machines in our clean and temperature-controlled facility. This position requires the ability to read blueprints, perform quality inspections, and manage multiple set-ups daily. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC turning machines according to blueprints + Perform quality inspections on machined components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges + Complete 2-5 set-ups daily + Conduct tool changes and offsets as needed **Essential Skills** + Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes + Proficiency in reading blueprints + Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges + Knowledge of tool changes and offsets **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment (automotive, medical, or aerospace) is a plus **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with opportunities for advancement into lead, programming, or engineering positions. The facility primarily manufactures medical devices, such as surgical instruments, and maintains a high standard of cleanliness and climate control. You will be part of a team of approximately 100 employees and will report to the Machining Manager. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
