Exciting opportunity for a Vice President to lead the EMEA into Latin America desk for our Subsidiary Banking team

Job summary

As a Vice President in our Latin America Subsidiary Banking group, you will lead the EMEA into Latin America desk at J.P. Morgan.  This position will be based in London and report to the Head of Latin America Subsidiary Banking.

The Latin America Subsidiary Banking team manages J.P. Morgan’s relationships with ~2,000 Latin American subsidiaries of global corporate clients across their cash management, trade, fx & rates, and financing needs. The team coordinates the coverage strategy with headquarter bankers and product partners across regions.

Job responsibilities

Build and expand Treasurer / Treasury Manager relationships with EMEA corporate clients in Latin America. Originate dialogue at the headquarter level, educating EMEA clients on JPMorgan's corporate banking capabilities for their Latin American subsidiaries. Partner with local and headquarter corporate bankers and product partners to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution. Create forward-looking business plans for clients and maintain existing business relationships. Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's array of corporate banking products (e.g. payments, trade, escrow, derivatives, capital markets, credit, risk management, asset management, etc.) Responsible for conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions. Escalate the needs of clients with local and regional product partners to drive product development ideas. Conduct regular cross functional reviews with peers (locally and regionally) to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and business opportunities. Ensure strong Risk & Control framework is maintained with an ongoing focus on adherence to KYC, AML, GFCC, PAD, PEP and Reputation Risk standards.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Role requires travel within EMEA countries. Role requires individual being fluent in English and Spanish. Proven ability to build and develop client relationships. Track record in managing complex multi-product and multi-country opportunities. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products. Solid credit and analytical skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to partner with corporate bankers and product specialists within the firm.
