The role of Launch Building and Facilities Leader is responsible for the management and oversight of launch with respect to actions being taken to implement new equipment and processes within the facility. The job is accomplished thru working with hourly United Auto Workers (UAW) Skilled Trades, maintenance personnel, Ford Land and plant launch managers. The candidate will be expected to work with local employees (represented and non-represented Ford personnel, as well as non-Ford personnel) and communicate facility readiness at various management levels.
The successful candidate is responsible for delivering new program milestones from program start to power on of equipment focused on facility readiness.

Plan and manage updates required to facility according to timing of deliverables Oversee launch program deliverables from facility readiness to power on of equipment in zone Interface between plant maintenance personnel, Ford Land, PTME to schedule required work Lead weekly cross functional team meeting regarding launch deliverables for facility readiness Manage the launch team by providing direction and leadership, prioritizing the day-to-day activities Plan, write, & manage projects and orders as required, Support 5-year project planning. Support plant launch timing plan, with GPDS milestones and deliverables Participate with ME and Ford Land on final layouts, detailed plans for installation or construction, execution of plans, and buy-off Represent the voice of the plant during launch. Keep the plant informed of the latest launch status and request launch support resources according to priorities Ensure operating system (SOS, QOS, DOS, COS, POS, MOS, EOS) requirements are implemented Support the daily acceleration build targets until planned JPH is reached Support necessary plant launch status through GPDS integrator, 15 panel, NMP/LQOS assessment reports
