Compensation (Range):  / hour: $47.50 - 49.00 hr.

This is a contract position; however, it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Launch Engineer       
Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Launch Engineer will include:       PMT interior engineer who has plant and launch experience that is has great communication / leadership skills to support cross functional team. Must have great collaboration skills and willingness to support on-site at Kentucky Truck. Well versed in systems WERS / AIMs / CR's / Alert / etc... Represent and support VHM for all program interfaces. Support functional sign-off and compatibility reviews to deliver all Program Milestones on-time with completed metrics. Drive functional delivery to meet quality, cost, investment, weight, and timing targets. Champion trade-off decisions to balance within the VHM Function Drive cross-functional issue resolution (including program, quality, attribute, manufacturing, STA, studio, color & materials sign off, suppliers etc.). Support escalation when needed. Support resolution of PD build issues via AIMS, CRs, FCPA, Alerts, & other launch performance metrics for on time delivery of launch Active, on-site, Body Interior SPOC for program, attributes, VO, and NML teams through launch phases from LR through OKTB Launch Engineer
Job Requirements
As a Launch Engineer, you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (open, clear, and inclusive) Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results. Demonstrated organizational & delegation skills with proper follow-up. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues effectively and efficiently. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload managing immediate and future needs. Ability to build strong effective relationships with cross functional teams (Program, Studio, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering) Strong technical capability and problem-solving skills Fluent in English Speaking and Writing Launch Engineer
