Overview The Laundry Attendant plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the resort's laundry operations. This position is responsible for processing all “in-house” laundry, including comforters, blankets, pillows, cleaning rags, robes, and linens from the Solace Spa. The Laundry Attendant ensures that linen chutes and trash drop areas are clear and clean, and that carts of dirty linen are prepared for Mountain Linen pickup for our “outside linen” service. When clean linen carts are delivered, they are promptly unloaded, organized, and stocked in the appropriate storage areas or shelves. Additional responsibilities include keeping guest laundry areas, employee bathrooms, and break rooms clean and tidy. Safety is a top priority, and the Laundry Attendant is expected to maintain a neat, clean, and safe laundry environment at all times while using laundry equipment properly and responsibly. This position is based in the resort’s laundry facility, located in the basement of the Huntley/Shoshone Lodge, and is part of the Huntley Housekeeping Team. Responsibilities Heavy lifting is a requirment and laundry loads can be heavy. Lifting of up to 50lbs and pushing/pulling up to 70lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be responsible, courteous and efficient. Must be detail oriented. Know and follow Boyne USA and Big Sky Resort policies, guidelines and philosophies.
