JOB SUMMARY

Clean and prepare all laundry for the hotel.   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following) 

Inventory incoming and outgoing laundry Wash, dry and fold laundry Operate laundry and ironing machines Safe use of laundry products When washer/dryer cycle is complete, reach and manually unload and loosen clean laundry into carts.  Push and maneuver carts to the feeder/sorter area. Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Oral and written communication skills Ability to operate laundry equipment  Perform under pressure in an interruptive environment High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)

Ability to stand for long periods of time Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking Must be able to work in fast-paced environment under stressful conditions May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
