Zion Lodge is in National Register of Historic Places designed in 1924 by Gilbert Stanley Underwood in the National Park Service rustic style. The Zion Lodge is a year-round operation with 76 hotels rooms, 6 suites and 40 cabins as well as a restaurant, outside grab and go café, bar, gift shop and auditorium space. In the year 2025 a coffee and wine bar will be opening.
Zion Lodge is a welcoming, safe, and environmentally responsible resort providing accommodations and services inside Zion National Park. Over the next few years, the resort will undergo upgrades to rejuvenate accommodations and dining for public enjoyment. Renewable energy projects and energy efficiency upgrades will also be completed as well as other Sustainability innovations. POWDR operates Zion Lodge under a long-term concession contract with the National Park Service.
Job Summary:
The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry facility at Zion Lodge. This position ensures that all linens and laundry are cleaned, pressed, and delivered in a timely manner, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The Laundry Supervisor will lead and manage the laundry attendants, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of laundry attendants, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance.Oversee the laundering process for linens, ensuring that all items are cleaned, pressed, and folded to the highest standards.Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure continuous operation.Conduct regular inspections of laundry equipment to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness; report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Manager.Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the laundry facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Develop and maintain laundry schedules to optimize efficiency and meet the needs of the lodge.Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to various departments.Handle any guest inquiries or complaints regarding laundry services, providing prompt and effective resolutions.Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including inventory usage and employee performance.Other Duties as Assigned:

Due to the in-person nature of the hospitality business, housing will be provided on-site and commuting from the local vicinity is also acceptable.Due to the nature of our business, Zion Lodge is open every day.
