The Opportunity at Hand The Law Clerk intern will report to the Associate General Counsel and support the legal team at New Era. In addition to your Law Clerk responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Summer 2025 Internship Program activities, including Community Service Day, Team Building Day, and Professional Development sessions. The Law Clerk intern position is a paid full-time position (40 hours/week) during the summer of 2025 and a paid part-time position (18-20 hours/week flexible around class schedule) during the 2025-2026 academic year. Projects & Tasks + Assist in contract review and drafting of contracts and agreements, such as confidentiality agreements, manufacturing agreements, license agreements, consulting agreements, trademark consents, production services agreements and likeness/image releases + Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and companies + Assist in trademark searches + Assist in Intellectual Property filings and entry of Intellectual Property into Intellectual Property database + Assist in eBay shutdowns and other anti-counterfeit activities + Review New Era social medial channels and marketing creative + Prepare contest rules and promotional guidelines + Enter and summarize contracts into contract database + Assist with administrative duties in the Legal Department + Keep all sensitive matters confidential + Other duties as assigned What You Will Need to Make an Impact General business experience is a plus. The hourly rate for this posted position is $20/hr. and pertains to candidates located in Western New York.
