Job Description:

The Document Services Trainer provides applications training and support to all centralized Administrative and Document Processing teams, working across a wide variety of client network environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivers group and one-on-one technology instruction in-person and/or on-lineProvides deskside coaching and best practices adviceWith the National Training Manager, designs and develops instructional programs for the Middle Office dedicated word processing teams including preparation of instructional outlines, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), handouts, specialty web seminars as needed, e-learning modules, and follow-up exercises.With the National Training Manager, develops new hire and existing staff training plans and strategies.Provides weekly status reports on activities to the National Training Manager and Director of Operations.Maintains local training calendar and student attendance.Provides assistance with post-job review for dedicated word processing teams and develops follow-up strategies with National Training Manager.Liaises with Team Managers to identify and coordinate parallel processing assignments used for training new team members.Works closely with the National Training Manager and Sr. Operations Manager to administer and score tests and/or assessments taken by new hires. Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.Performs other duties as assigned by National Training Manager or Director of Operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Thorough knowledge of Windows-based computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheet, database, document management, presentation and diagramming/charting software programs commonly used by law firm clients.Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management, staff, and a variety of external entities, including prospective clients.Self-starter; proactive; able to demonstrate initiative.Detail oriented.Team player and ability to work under pressure.Ability to design and develop instructional programs for the GRSS Administrative and Document Processing teams, including preparation of instructional outlines, Quick Reference Guides (QRGs), handouts, specialty web seminars, e-learning modules, and follow-up exercises.Ability to create new hire and existing staff training plans, including targeted skill assessments.Provides weekly status reports on activities; maintains local training calendar, student attendance and training plans.Ability to adapt to change and learn new software programs quickly.Ability to demonstrate best practices approach to creating and formatting documents.College degree or equivalent experience; Microsoft Certification a plusLaw firm Applications training experience required including, but not limited to: DocXTools, Adobe Acrobat, Nuance, Best Authority, Workshare, Litera, iManage FileSite/DeskSite, NetDocs, eDocsMay require occasional travel.Ability to support all shifts in a 24/7 support center.

Work schedule; 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m Monday - Friday (In office / Hybrid /No remote work)

The Compensation range for this role is 65,000.00 to 83,000.00 USD per year and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
