You will be leading a team responsible for the overall financial integrity and performance monitoring of European logistic within Supply Chain organization (LCC Load control center). You will support the Manager or Director in financial and performance monitoring processes, data collection to prepare and monitor budget and spending, business proposals, verify assumptions, check daily execution, and support delivery of overall objectives and ensure the integrity and timeliness of reporting. You will also have a direct report withing the controlling team.
How you will contribute – Main responsibilities
Operationally you will:
• Execute budgeting and tracking of cost/ spend/ productivity performance and variances in all transport managed by LCC e.g. all MEU & EE Inbound transport (app. 200 MM USD) and in Pallet management (app. 40 MMUSD). Team budget responsibility over 200MM USD
• Run and analyze LCC cost, and service performance and internal controls reports, preparing recommendations to management
• Report to management results through standard governance meetings
• Design and perform End To End cost analysis, if there is on-cost appear for LCC
• Ensure internal controls and compliance of LCC processes
• Support with reporting and analytics for the tender process and other procurement activities
• Support in developing and implementation of CS&L projects in LCC and country log ops
• Support freight billing activities in reporting and compliance areas
• Manage direct reports (team) within controlling (including customs controlling) or CPM (central pallet management)
Strategically you will:
• Develop new reporting concept, processes, communication, and way of working with Transport Management System (TMS) and integration of digitalization into reporting into processes and presentation
• Further improve and automatize lean controlling concept for CPM and support integration to new TMS
• Drive project of automation and robotics in controlling and pallet management operations
• Extend spend and service reporting of LCC activities for extended scope of Freight Billing and Customs Tower activities for whole MEU & EE
• Drive cross functional and cross category project to drive efficiency in cost management -> utilization, co-load, integration with pallet management -> E2E Project management
What you will bring - requirements:
• Expected 5-10 years of experience in finance, preferably in CS&L
• Experience of working in a multicultural teams and environment, with multifunctional interaction / exposure
• Experience in budgeting and monitoring
• Project and process management, Study of Business Administration or a similar degree with focus on Logistics; Knowledge in Supply Chain Management
• Experience with team management (leading junior peer) is an advantage
• Fluent English
• Experience with Excel (macro), SAP, PowerBI/Alteryx
• Excellent communication skills
