This position has been designated as Remote within Southeast Geography. Potential candidate will need to live within reasonable driving distance of Atlanta sales office.
What you will do:
Trane in Atlanta, GA area is hiring for a Light Commercial Unitary (LCU) HVAC Equipment Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all functions relating to developing new Light Commercial Equipment customer relationships and strengthening our existing customer base to ensure maximum account penetration and customer retention. Targeted products include Light Commercial Unitary 3-25 tons, and small packaged and split system heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment for use on commercial applications.
Function as a sales and marketing representative and liaison between customers and the Commercial District Sales Office.Assess current market opportunities and utilize account management process to identify key customers.Develop long term relationships throughout the assigned territory with contractors and building owners.Identify customer problems and perform analysis to identify Trane products and services that best meet customer needs. Possess expert knowledge of the Trane product line to best create customer solutions.Facilitate introductions of key customer contacts to other Trane sales teams for specific opportunity development. May partner with other Trane account managers to provide bundled solutions to customers.Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of two (2) years in sales or related experience. Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC products and HVAC systems applications, Trane product line preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000/ annually and will include a sales commission plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
