Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Job Summary
Monitors and maintains the amount of fuel in the tanks for fuel operations. Performs usage calculations and requests service time and amount for tank filling. Prepares and checks receiving/shipping documents and fuel accountability paperwork. Visually inspects samples of fuel, checks API and fuel additives with test equipment. Gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels. Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on terminal system and fuel equipment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for daily fuel accountability, paperwork, and reports.
Responsible for direct daily oversight of subcontract workers.
Perform daily Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) of fuel related equipment.
Handle daily testing of fuel.
Comply with all KBR Safety and Quality Programs.
Follow all daily fuel retail and mobile operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Requires at least 2 years of directly related experience.
Must have excellent communication skills including Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Applications.
Knowledge of U.S. Army Fuel Regulations.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
