Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.

Job Summary

As a Laundry Foreman you should oversee laundry operations, manage staff, maintain equipment, and ensure quality service. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, handle inventory, and address operational issues. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and previous supervisory experience required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Coordinates and oversees the service line work of a laundry facility.

Assists in inventory and quality control checks throughout the entire process.

Responsible for providing guidance and direction to the labor staff and Laundry Attendants while promoting excellence in work ethics and attitudes.

Ensures that daily production numbers are being met, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction and quality.

Responsible for providing customer service, including issue resolution and claims investigations.

Additional tasks may include oversight of the receipt and issuance of client laundry, assisting with the preventive maintenance of laundry equipment, and the coordination of laundry delivery.

Assists the Laundry Supervisor and Manager with other tasks as assigned.

Compile and submit daily reports.

Oversee the safety regulations and procedures in the work area.

Hold daily TSTI-II to the Laundry Operators and properly file the sing in sheets.

Advice, receive and submit laundry claims (if any).

Compile and oversee the cleaning and maintaining schedule of the work area.

Compile, maintain, follow up and submit the unclaimed laundry bags inventory list.

Oversee proper storage and handling of clean laundry bags.

Oversee the proper compiling and maintaining of washing, drying and folding paperwork Receive laundry bags on daily basis, ensure that the documentation is properly signed, recorded and filed on a daily basis.

Ensure proper filling out of the right information and proper signing of the Log In – Log Out book.

Issue bags of laundry on daily basis.

Check and sign the clean clothes back in the bag.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Must be able to read, speak and write with a level of English proficiency in accordance with the position

Must be knowledgeable and have experience with Computers High School Diploma

Must be self starter and be able to work with little to no supervision

Must be accurate and well organized

Must be able to work well with others and be a Team Player

Mast be Kosovo citizen
