LCV EUCOM Poland: Generator, Foreman - ContingencyDuties and Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and guidance on the Power Generation program in Poland. Ensure contractual requirements are met and internal processes and procedures are followed. Maintain and order parts to maintain stock levels.Review and verify all the PM, services and repairs on Generators and Work Orders performed by KBR mechanics and subcontractors. Review and Approve/Disapprove all related repair estimates from subcontractors.Travel to other camps within Poland to perform technical inspections and operational checks of generators and light sets. Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment and follow all HAZMAT rules and regulations regarding waste material from generators. Provide guidance to sub-contract workers during repairs.Required Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred.Requires at least 7 years as a Generator Mechanic.Requires at least 5 years of Leadership, Supervisory, or Management experience.Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.Must have a valid Passport with at least 18 months of validity.Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility required.Requires a valid driver's license.Must have experience working on any of the following generators and engines: SDMO – John Deere/Doosan engines, Himoinsa – Yanmar/FPT IVECO engines, Cummins – Cummins engine, and Onis Visa – Perkines engine.Preferred Qualifications:
Overseas experience and working with non-native English speakers is preferred.
Candidates must meet visa and or work permit requirements for the country of assignment to be considered and eligible for employment.
