LCV EUCOM Poland: GS Site Manager - ContingencyJob Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement all activities associated with an maintenance/operations project that typically employs up to 25 - 350 employees (both direct hires and subcontract workers) in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements of the company.Supervise through subordinate leader’s employees who have experience in maintenance/operations in the construction trades, or other services such as laundry, food, morale welfare and recreation (MWR) or others.Work with and oversee subcontractors.Responsible for project setup and subcontracting strategy, shop drawing review and processing, contract changes, owner/architect/engineer daily relations, subcontractor relations, and all required owner and in-house reporting.Collaborate with Human Resources to resolve employee workplace issues.Collaborate with Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) professionals to resolve and prevent HSE issues.Work with the management team on budget management and financial reporting.Review and implement contracts and ensure that the SOW/PWS are followed.Take ownership of Base Operations to maintain the Camp in a professional manner.Work across all departments.Keep the management team informed of issues and concerns.Write and compile reports.Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications:
Requires at least 8 years of applicable experience.Must have site level facilities/operations experience.Must have at least 3 years of experience working BOS or CAP style contracts overseas.Must have experience managing 200-500 employees.Requires 3 or more years of supervisor/management experience.Requires experience managing dispersed operations across multiple locations.Requires a construction or facility maintenance background.Must be capable of running an entire project of $7 to $15 million or bid packages on a larger project.Must be fluent in English (Read, write and speak).Must have excellent management skills.Requires superior communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or Trades Certification or Licensure (HVAC, Electric, Power Generation). Other certifications, education or experience may be considered.Candidates must meet visa and or work permit requirements for the country of assignment to be considered and eligible for employment.
