Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary

As a Senior Logistics Support Specialist for the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) department, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of logistical plans, policies, and procedures. Your responsibilities will span various logistics areas, including supply, transportation, maintenance, and services. The position requires a keen understanding of project logistics functions, coordination with diverse teams, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient support delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistical plans, policies, and procedures to support supply, transportation, maintenance, and services within the TMP department.Recommend and coordinate the logistics support structure to optimize project logistics functions.Facilitate coordination between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance, and warehousing to ensure timely and cost-effective customer support.Troubleshoot and identify areas of improvement in logistics, coordinating resolutions or proposing solutions to management.Collaborate with customers to understand and meet desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules, effectively communicating these to management.Analyze work processes and devise metrics for measuring performance in logistics operations.Coordinate with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas to ensure compliance and effective collaboration.Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of related experience.Must have a valid Driver’s License.Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Military experience.LOGCAP experience.TMP experience.
