LCV NORTHCOM NTC: Sr. Operations Coordinator (SOC)

Position Overview:   

The position serves as a Senior Operations Coordinator in the Sustainment Operations Center (SOC).   Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.  The Sr. Operations Coordinator displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Applicable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.Must be able to obtain and hold a Secret Clearance.Reviews and analyzes support operations to identify trends and keeps Supply, Maintenance and Support Operations Divisions aligned.Manages sensitive information reporting for Incident Reporting.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, clients and fellow employeesRequires above average knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)Required to produce professional internal and external communiquesMust possess a general understanding of LOGCAP concept of operations to include Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Technical Data Package (TDP)Must be able to make decisions regarding the requirements of the TDPMust possess basic knowledge of the Transportation Movement Request (TMR) process, Command Post of the Future (CPOF) and Joint Capabilities Release – Logistics (JCR-LOG)Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Skills or Experience Preferred:

Two years prior Operations experience preferred

Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluentlyMust have a valid State Driver’s LicenseMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)Must have the ability to maintain classified and sensitive informationMust be able to work under stressful circumstances and meets short suspense datesWill be required to work occasional extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Basic Compensation: $78,500 -117,800
     
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
