As we continue to enhance efficiencies and optimize financial operations, this role will be instrumental in driving process improvements and ensuring seamless accounts payable functions within a growing and fast-paced environment. **What You Will Be Doing:** + Oversee and manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all transactions. + Lead a team of AP professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to drive excellence. + Develop and implement best practices for invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation procedures. + Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, maintaining strong internal controls. + Partner with internal departments and external vendors to resolve discrepancies, negotiate terms, and maintain strong relationships. + Monitor and track vendor contracts, payment schedules, and compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements. + Assist in financial close processes, including accruals, reporting, and data analysis to support decision-making. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AP workflows and integrate automation for increased efficiency. + Collaborate with senior leadership to align AP strategies with broader financial and operational objectives. **What We’re Looking For:** **Must-Haves:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. + Expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced) and experience with ERP systems **(Great Plains preferred).** + Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. + Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to engage with vendors, internal teams, and senior leadership. + Proven track record of process improvement **,** problem-solving **,** and change management within an AP function. + High level of integrity, accountability,and attention to detail in financial operations. + Ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, make informed decisions, and drive efficiencies in a fast-evolving environment **.** This is more than just an AP role, it’s an opportunity to shape financial operations, lead a high **-** performing team, and contribute to the strategic direction of a growing organization **.** **About Elior North America:** Elior North America is an equal opportunity employer.
