With 2023 revenues of $20\.4 billion, we are a Fortune 500 company who is committed to providing an inclusive work environment with continuous learning opportunities and development for our teams\. **GENERAL PURPOSE:** The Lead Business Analyst is an experienced IT functional systems analyst who also has experience in project management, product management, and internal consulting working to improve or build business capabilities by facilitating the implementation of process and system improvements\. This role coordinates the efforts of internal and external staff, and key business partners/users in support of existing production systems and the execution of new system projects\. They also serve as functional and/or technical expert in one or more disciplines\. The base salary/pay range for this role is $106,700\- $182,000\. The base salary/pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location\. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees\. Other rewards vary by position and location\. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** • Leading an organized team of internal and external technical staff as well as outside vendors in the execution of new IT projects • Working closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize their needs \- transforming them into detailed business and system requirements • Performing business analysis activities at the strategic, operational, and organizational level; working with key users in the continual improvement of business processes • Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to ensure timely and successful issue resolution; taking a leadership role in exploring and analyzing new processes, services, and application functions and technologies • Creating and ensuring smooth communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to keep everyone on the same page\. Communication is both clear and concise, covering everything from business cases to functional specs and user guides\. • Managing project activities and leading efforts in the support of existing systems, processes, services and/or in the execution of new projects, ensuring that: \- The appropriate requirements and data are gathered in support of business cases, proposed projects and systems requirements\. \- Project Plans are created and maintained to ensure accurate tracking of project tasks and deliverables\. \- Test plans and training plans are developed and executed successfully\. \- All required system and user documentation/guides are created and maintained accurately\. • Supporting existing production systems \- Defining, prioritizing and analyzing system issues and enhancement requests to identify and address root causes and develop solutions\. \- Coordinating related support and development activities \(internal and external\)\. \- Managing the testing for technical solutions and/or enhancements to ensure successful completion\. \- Ensuring users receive appropriate training and documentation created and maintained\. \- Ensuring all support activities are executed on time and on budget while managing/delivering the agreed scope and quality\. **COMPETENCIES:** • Collaboration • Manages Conflict • Leading by Example • Business Acumen • Communicates Effectively • Plans, Aligns, and Prioritizes • Ensures accountability & Execution • Organizational Agility **QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:** • Undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience • At least 5 \-7 years of experience working as a business analyst within IT systems, processes or capabilities\. Solid understanding of IT processes and dynamics within a complex, highly integrated environment • A solid understanding of industry best practices in retail or IT; specific demonstrated experience mapping business processes and comparing those processes to industry best practices • Experience setting up and leading meetings and events including project kickoff meetings, discovery sessions, backlog reviews, and process reviews • Experience creating and maintaining artifacts such as Project Schedule, Risk Management plan, Technical & Solution Design Documents, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and project increment\. • Clear understanding of Project and Product Management best practices and standards \- SDLC as well as incremental, iterative delivery methodologies\. • Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills • Some Management Consulting experience preferred • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure, HW & SW Management, MS O365 including MS Teams **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:** This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others\. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position\.
