What you’ll do on a typical day: Lead and Drive XPO collections processes and performance Work alongside the team members to continuously enhance processes and improve performance metrics Manage assigned critical portfolio. Engage regularly with assigned customers, via telephone and other forms of communication with customers to ensure the timely payment of invoices and assist with the resolution of any disputes or queries raised by customers. Perform portfolio reviews of assigned collectors, provide timely feedback and accordingly and drive results Support internal project initiatives and Back-up for Team activities during absences. Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customer. Responsible to build, generate and maintain data reports and process documents Guiding/mentoring team members to achieve agreed efficiency and quality levels Suggest and Review of payment plan and third-party placements Follow-up with various departments to get supporting documents/ info for dispute/deductions resolution. Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing disputes. Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress. Responsible to act as SME of the process Accountable for training and mentoring new joiners Regular and ad-hoc reporting as per management requirement Analyzing and solutioning complex stuck account Support Senior Manager to drive performance of the team and delivery resultsWhat you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Ability to work flexible hours (6:30PM to 3:30AM IST.) Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance or Commerce 10+ years related experience within within Order to Cash (OTC) primarily in Collections Must-have people management experience Must-have exposure to working with North-American stakeholders Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar. Strong fluency/ expert-level user of Windows applications. Demonstrates ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel; create queries in company software applications. Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/ business unit such as and not limited to HRC, Oracle, ITSM-Service now, Looker etc. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages Should be able to perform duties independently Be part of something big.
