About This Role
As the Lead Commercial Enterprise & Systems Improvements, you will provide strategic advisement, governance, and continuous improvement for Supply Chain Global Partnerships & Execution, Supply Chain Operations, and Sales & Marketing functions. Your role will ensure alignment with global standards, optimize business processes across all regions, and drive transformational initiatives.
You will lead key change and enterprise system projects, support compliance, manage training initiatives, and act as a liaison between IT and Commercial teams, ensuring system efficiency and business process excellence.
Your Role Will Consist Of:Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day responsibilities:
Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of the Global Business Process Ownership (GBPO) framework within the Commercial division.
Advise on cross-functional strategies with the Commercial leadership team to refine processes, systems, and opportunities for transformation.
Deploy Enterprise and Systems Commercial business improvement initiatives for Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain Global Partnerships & Execution, ensuring alignment with global Commercial requirements.
Develop and implement best practices, process controls, RACI models, program documentation, reporting, analytics, and documentation in coordination with the Center-of-Excellence and Business Improvements teams.
Define and execute a 3-year strategic roadmap in collaboration with the Commercial leadership team, Business Improvement Lead, and Regional Supply Chain Director.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Commercial functions and Enterprise systems, supporting e-platforms and end-to-end Commercial practices.
Prioritize and implement process enhancements, ensuring proper business cases are developed and executed.
Work closely with IT to select, configure, integrate, implement, and maintain system technologies that align with Newmont’s business needs and best practices.
Provide specialized advice to global business areas and cross-functional teams to optimize business functions and solve operational challenges.
Lead and support global and regional Commercial (Supply Chain) technology projects, particularly ERP systems and e-platforms, to maximize application efficiency.
Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment where team members feel empowered to contribute, receive feedback, and grow professionally.
Lead and develop team members, ensuring work aligns with business priorities and organizational goals.
Your Training, Skills, and Experience ChecklistWhat We Need to See From You:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Engineering, or Business Administration.
Master’s degree and/or professional certification preferred.
Experience:
Industry experience in mining, construction, oil & gas, or other asset-intensive industries.
Strong background in business process management, data governance, technology evaluation, project/process/technology integration, and training delivery.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, e-platforms, data analysis, and commercial technology management.
Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills & Abilities:
Advanced expertise in business process improvement and best practice implementation.
Strong cross-functional collaboration, change management, and leadership capabilities.
High analytical proficiency, with expertise in data analysis, process optimization, and ERP system utilization.
Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to C-level executives.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present business cases and drive transformation initiatives.
Ability to lead and develop high-performance teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience in managing organizational change effectively, overcoming resistance, and fostering adaptability within teams.
Working Conditions and Location This position is based at the Denver Corporate Office, with flexibility in location.Some travel may be required to support regional business improvement initiatives.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $118,600 - 150,195. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
