Job Description:

This Lead Program Manager role will be a thought leader, with experience spanning all phases of Program Management. In this role, the selected candidate will work across disciplines to lead complex development and production programs for High Assurance NSA-Certified Cryptographic devices from cradle to grave. This includes leading new business capture activities, proposal development and contracting, program startup, program execution, development, manufacturing, and program closeout.

Essential Functions:

Program management of complex development and production efforts including Systems, Software, Electrical & Mechanical Hardware, and VHDL Engineering development, system and product qualification and NSA certification, low-rate production and subcontract/supplier management.New business capture management and proposal development of follow-on program efforts, ECP change proposals, and adjacent business capture in coordination with the Program Business Area and Business Development teamDevelop and manage competitive systems and technical solutions aligned with our customer’s needsDevelop program business plans including all financial metrics, staffing estimates, program status presentations, support of strategic market analysis, growth plans, competitor assessments, and conduct capability presentations to current and new customers.Acts as primary contact with the customer and responsible for customer satisfaction. Develop process improvement and cost reduction plans for program executionResponsible for assigned Cyber Programs Financial, Schedule, and Technical performance including all internal and external reporting to executive management and customers.Prior Program Manager, Subcontracts, and Business Development experience through all stages of the program lifecycle, including Program capture, startup, design and production. Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Windows interface, Microsoft Office package (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access), and Microsoft ProjectExcellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Communicate clearly and effectively, and most importantly; promote collaboration among the team.Travel as required, 10-25%.Strong leadership and decision-making skills.Ablity to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance or higher.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Requires strong knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Active US Government Secret clearance or higher.PMP Certification.Prior P&L responsibility and or experience with demonstrated portfolio growth.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.Program Management and Leadership Certifications.Earned Value Management Expertise.
