The Distribution Lead & DEA Specialist will be responsible for all job functions related to receiving, and activities in the DEA Cage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of DEA operations including multi-client receiving and order fulfillment of sample orders, 3PL orders, and kitting. You will communicate and coordinate with all business units within the Knipper Health umbrella.
• Monitor schedule for incoming DEA trucks in coordination with 3PL designee, and report any no-shows to Supervisor, QA and 3PL personnel.
• Ensure there are 2 authorized contributors present for offloading a DEA truck, and that one of them are Quality
• Screen all truck drivers, verifying driver identification.
• Verify counts of all inventories received against packing slip/BOL for all receipts. Check for damaged inventory, and document accordingly.
• Complete all receiving documentation and accurately enter them into the WMS. All documentation will be neat, legible, and free of cGMP errors.
• Coordinate incoming inspections with Quality Assurance and ensure inventory is appropriately staged to facilitate inspection.
• Coordinate timing of 3PL orders with 3PL Scheduling.
• Ensure all orders are picked so they are visible on cameras and ensure the cycle count following the pick is completed and confirmed by the Forklift Operator before moving on to the next location.
• Appropriately stage all completed DEA orders in the designated areas for those orders. If special overpack cartons are needed, they will be selected from the warehouse and used to overpack the order before it is placed in the final staging area. For international orders, including AK, HI, and PR orders, the shipping labels will be printed and placed on the cartons prior to being placed in the final staging area. Ensure all outbound boxes are appropriately packed, sealed and labeled.
• Ensure pallets are staged in appropriate lanes for pickup and then notify the appropriate personnel for loading on trucks.
• Assist with Monthly cycle counts as needed.
• Stow all cold chain inventory upon receipt, completing verification of receipt and counts within the refrigeration staging area.
• Complete dock to stock requirements within 24 hours
• Ensure all paperwork and databases are updated and contain neat, accurate and up-to-date information.
• Participate in all training and process improvement initiatives.
• Operate sit down forklift, reach truck, pallet jack and walkie-riders as needed.
• Quarantine preparation for destruction.
• Always maintain a safe distribution/production environment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, Knipper Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA, DOT, DEA, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Education/Training: High School Education or higher.

Business Experience: Two years of related Inbound experience or training and order fulfillment experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:


• Basic Supervisory Skills or training (including safety and regulatory specific training or experience)
• General warehouse or distribution skills
• Use of job specific machinery and equipment
• Basic to intermediate mathematical skills (counting, adding, multiplying, percentages, calculating line rates, capacities, etc.)
• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• WMS experience required – Manhattan SCALE experience a plus.
• RF Gun
• Sit down forklift, Reach Truck, walkie rider, and pallet jack.
• Neat and legible handwriting


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:


• Frequently required to stand or sit.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds.
