This is full-time position located at our Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest. Must be available and willing to work a varied shift which will be dependent upon the department's needs and will include start times as early as 5:30am and as late as 1:30pm. Must be available to work a varied schedule including weekends.

As the Lead for Food and Nutrition Services, your main duties will include oversight of staff to ensure tasks are completed appropriately. You will also be the person in charge on weekends and when the supervisor is unavailable. You will provide leadership and coordination in the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, volume food production, menu development and modification, meal assembly and portion control, inventory management, food service equipment operations, customer service, human resources management, financial performance, infection control/sanitation and overall department function. Participates in the planning, coordination, preparation and volume production of meals for patients, cafeteria, and catering/special events. Complies with JCAHO, Title XXII and other regulations.
