This position reports to: Operations Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the consistent handling of customer product throughout the facility using inventory counts and verifying shipping and receiving work orders; checks product for content accuracy, quality, potential damage, and maintains records of materials in inventory. Initiates action to reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notifies leadership of irregularities and potential roadblocks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examine contents and compare with records (manifests, orders, etc.) to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
Verify shipping/receiving methods for materials, using knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures. Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program. Perform cycle counting of physical inventory; monitor current inventory problems; report any findings to inventory manager regarding inventory discrepancies.
Use RF Gun and Warehouse Management Software to achieve accurate results.
Ensure proper, efficient and accurate application of all company procedures regarding quality and inventory management.
Monitor and ensure all completed shipments/bu ilds are within compliance to customer specifications. Prepare. review, analyze and present reports and updates to help identify potential trends in quality and inventoty.
Assist in staffing and training of assigned associates.
Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate and promote a solution based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
Promote and ensure a safe work environment.

Ensure delivery of quality products and services through continuous monitoring; Adhere to company standards and operating procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Planning, Organization & Execution — Highly organized; Ability to following procedures timely and accurately in order to accomplish company objectives.
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify root cause of any noted discrepancy and communicate potential solutions to leadership.
Highly professional in communicating with all levels of management and cross-functional teams. Must pass forklift written test and driving skills test.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; six months or more related experience in a quality/inventory role in a big box high volume environment.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure documents; understanding of shipping and receiving process documents as they relate to the company objectives.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Distribution Environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds.

Reading, writing, basic English communication, excellent math skills, Microsoft Office Suite fluent.
