The Global Supply Management (GSM) Function is recognized as a critical function for business success.
GSM is responsible for execution of procurement strategies to manage sourcing of quality products, equipment and services. Responsible for assured supply of materials, minimizing inventories, optimum material utilization, and supplier performance while continuously identifying and implementing opportunities to lower total cost of ownership and mitigate risk (e.g. on-time, best price, high quality).
Scope of PositionStrategic Sourcing Technical Procurement Manager with a strong technical grasp to support critical commodity/supplier relationships who is able to work effectively as a team with business development, program management, engineering and manufacturing.
Responsible for assured supply of quality materials and services; effectively conducting supplier relationship management programs, quality audits, risk mitigation plans and low cost sourcing solutions.
Responsible for developing commodity & supply strategies which will ensure the supply of quality material and continually drive for lowest total cost.
Skill sets should include proven negotiations and contracting skills, self-starter, excellent communication skills, team player, minimum of 2 years of engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or procurement experience, 4 year degree. Lean and six sigma skills are also desirable.
The individual must be a US Citizen or US Green Card holder in order to support ITAR controlled government programs within the plant and business unit.
The individual must be willing to reside within daily commuting distance of the Keene, NH plant.
Experiences/Education - Required Bachelor’s Degree Required Years and Area of Experience: 2 - 5 years in Engineering, Quality or Procurement roles. Technical knowledge of print reading, demonical understanding, and general engineering Demonstrated decision making, influencing, negotiation, and conflict management/problem solving skills and ability to drive results through others (inside the function and outside the function) Contracting (negotiation, writing, and management) Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail Strategic thinker Ability to multitask, manage many changing priorities and be flexible Ability to look at the data and situation and make an informed decision using best judgment Ability to lead a team decision process Desired & Soft Skills Technical knowledge / experience / of optical systems and precision machining Lean/Six Sigma/Performance Excellence training and project experience (green or black belt certification) CPSM / APICS certification Project Management skills Acts with integrity and authenticity Results oriented, self-motivated Effective team player Strong Customer Focus Interpersonal Skills – Able to interact with others in a team environment. Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40 hours per week

The range for this position is $110,347.00 - $151,728.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
