Lead, Logistics Center Warehouse

Karl Storz is seeking a Logistic Center Warehouse Lead to join our team and help manage daily operations while driving continuous improvement. This hands-on leadership role involves guiding the team, ensuring smooth workflow, supporting training, and enhancing processes. You will collaborate with internal and external customers while maintaining high standards of compliance, quality, and efficiency.

 

Shift - 2:30 PM EST - 11 PM EST

 

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily department operations and labor planning. Support training, process improvements, and LEAN initiatives (5S, Audits, etc.) Investigate inventory discrepancies and aging transfer orders. Assist with departmental projects and work instructions. Ensure compliance with audit and quality programs.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

VOC/Idea Board Contributions: Actively contribute to the collection and analysis of feedback from associates and customers through the VOC (Voice of the Customer) process and the Idea Board, ensuring that ideas and suggestions are captured, reviewed, and implemented to improve processes and efficiency. SLA (Service Level Agreements): Meet and exceed service level agreements by maintaining operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and a high standard of service to both internal and external customers. Ensure that daily operations align with agreed performance metrics. Audit Quality: Ensure all departmental activities comply with internal and external audit standards. Maintain a high-quality level of audit performance through regular checks and reviews to ensure all processes are followed, and any discrepancies are promptly addressed. WIP (Work in Progress) Carryover: Monitor and reduce WIP carryover, ensuring that inventory and orders are processed and completed in a timely manner. Focus on reducing delays and improving the flow of goods and services through the warehouse to meet production and customer demands.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Leadership experience and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage physical tasks (lifting, reaching, using equipment)

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience Knowledge of warehouse inventory equipment Experience in personnel management.
