Your Impact:
A Manager provides technical and consultative leadership for engagements involving implementing the OpenText Documentum product suite for our world-wide customers. Understands customer requirements and determines level of effort & implementation approach. Provides mentorship and oversight to staff members in solving technical implementation issues and motivates them to progressively take on increased responsibilities, along with managing escalations with customers and onsite counterparts.

Contributes to the development of practice standards, policies and procedures. Drives utilization, increased revenue and the delivery of billable engagements for OPENTEXT products and services. Monitors direct report employee job performance and provides coaching, counseling, and identification of development plans to maximize employee performance. Assists functional Manager with the recruiting and hiring of employees, based on global profiles, who can help grow and drive OPENTEXT business.Monitors cost effective and quality of Delivery Services that drive higher customer satisfaction and also drive OPENTEXT product and service revenues. Conducts regular reviews and refines the engagement plans and processes to drive continuous improvement on the quality of services delivered.Responsible for managing employee satisfaction and enforce strong culture of skill development and growth plan for employees.Proactively engages with Business Managers and sales team to promote the business during the sales cycle. Understand requirements, assist client facing team members in envisioning and documenting the application architecture, determine level of effort, plan work breakdown structures and implementation approachProvide hands-on leadership to a team of consultants. Collaborate with senior staff and the engagement project manager as required during difficult customer situations. Work in conjunction with colleagues and the Product Support organization to ensure effective resolution of technical issues encountered during implementationsFacilitate client and internal meetings to discuss technical aspects of the solution and present appropriate technical solutions that balance the client requirements with technical goals around performance, scalability, extensibility and maintainabilityPerform project reviews at regular intervals to ensure Delivery Assurance. Adhere to processes and methodologies to perform the required function including providing oversight of team members to ensure compliance. Report deviations from defined processes to the engagement project manager and recommend associated improvements
What you need to succeed:
12+ years of experience
Bachelors in Engineering discipline (or) Bachelors in Science with Masters in Computer Applications.
Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure) with a solid understanding of the others.Provides expert advice on cloud architectures, best practices, and strategies for successful cloud deployment and migration projectsWork closely with sales and business development teams, enhancing OpenText’s capacity to secure new business in cloud solutions.Understanding Documentum product suite and its value add to the customer.Excellent grasp of the principles of Enterprise Content Management systems and the value proposition it offers to customersAbility to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup.Strong expertise leading teams working on Enterprise Professional ServicesProject management skills.Ability to influence others to achieve results.Excellent communication skills and an ability to present complex technical topics in a manner non-technical stakeholders can easily understandGood team motivation skillsKnowledge of Documentum Life sciences solution suite is highly desirable
