Welcome page Returning Candidate? Log back in! Lead, QA Job Functional Area OPS - Quality Shift M-TH (day shift) Overview

This position is responsible for to performing quality assurance job functions efficiently according to standard operating procedures for solid dosage and soft gel including capsule finished bulk, maintaining lab equipment in acceptable performance, and maintaining good house-keeping. This person will also mentor the QA Monitors and report any issues the Monitors are having to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Responsibilities Manage shift activities in the QA department on assigned shift and make adjustments to assignments when necessary.Maintain adequate Quality Assurance coverage in each area of manufacturing and track attendance.Responsible for training and cross-training of the Monitors.Must be a mentor to the Monitors, report any issues involving Quality Assurance or Monitors and create a professional work environment.Responsible for reviewing Quality Assurance Notices (QA Holds) before submitting.Make AQL second level decisions when necessary and other assignments as requested by Quality Assurance Supervisor.Perform physical tests according to standard operating procedures.Perform AQL Sampling Inspection Defect and Defect Level Limits on all finished bulk Perform AQL Sample Inspection Defect Level Limits on third party products and outside bulk products.Perform daily and monthly equipment calibration verifications on lab equipment.Ensure that lab equipment is in proper operation and supplies are in stock.Ability to locate product codes electronically and change product status electronically.Able to work flexible hours when necessary in order to accommodate the manufacturing departments work schedule.Report any questionable quality or safety issues to appropriate supervisory personnel.Keep QA lab and work stations neat and clean at all times.Knowledge of and comply with Nutra Mfg. cGMP’s and company policies and QA’s standard operating procedures.Oversee the QA Monitors and report any issues the Monitors are having to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Qualifications

Current QA Monitor with at least 5 years’ experience with present company or relevant work experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Ability to present with a team attitude and work well with others

Possess strong people skills including interpersonal and personal

Excellent math, oral, and written communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to interface with all levels of management

Good math, computer and documentation skills

Possess solid supervisory skills

Must be able to work flexible hours
