WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role will work with the Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) Partners team, reporting to the Senior Manager, NDDC Partners based in Japan. This role will mainly work with Platform Partners for planning and executing action items in collaboration with the NDDC Partner squad. You will also partner cross-functionally with other functional teams to execute or resolve any platform or business-related items.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
This role will be the Lead for our Rakuten digital business to take on the challenge of driving this successful area as part of Nike Digital Direct Commerce (NDDC). The ideal candidate is a passionate learner who is proactive and action-orientated, and who possesses strong entrepreneurial skills to lead communications and action in this sphere. Solid experience leading hands-on testing and learning in the digital and analytics sector is also required; including the ability to rapidly link insights to strategy, planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent organizational skills, project-management skills, and be able to communicate insights concisely and coherently amongst key stakeholders of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in business, planning or analytics, including minimum 3 years of experience working with the third party platform (3PP) business such as Rakuten and Amazon.Bachelor’s degree relevant to the field, or equivalent combination of education experience and training required.Proficiency in analytics; including the ability to derive valuable insights, and Solid team player skills, with experience working collaboratively in a matrix organization.Fluent to native level verbal and written communication skills in Japanese. Intermediate to business fluent level in English.WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will set monthly forecast, establish long-term growth objectives, and create strategies for unlocking growth acquisition, and retention of Active and Buying Members. You will be responsible for driving testing strategy and execution in collaboration with cross functional team.
You are expected to lead daily communications and execute in-season plans partnered with cross-functional internal teams such as DSM (Demand & Supply Management), Marketing Merchandising and external partner, Rakuten.You are also expected to analyze weekly business results, monitor KPIs and marketplace insights, and react to current business trends in the marketplace.Additionally, you will need to coordinate with Rakuten to elevate consumer experiences and develop 13-week seasonal action plans with the squad for season-relevant commercial and brand moments.You will also track and follow through with season readiness - ensuring the right seasonal investments are made at the product level.NIKE, Inc. is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it.
