Job Schedule: 9/80 Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off 

Job Description:

The Sales/Account Manager works with USSOCOM customer accounts to deliver product solutions, develop new business, and to maintain strong customer relationships.

Essential Functions:

Represents the company to the customer in all sales-oriented activities.Responsible for identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing opportunities to sell company products, systems and/or services to customers in assigned accounts to meet annual operating objective (quota).Manages account opportunities in customer relationship management (CRM) database and updates regularly to represent current state of opportunity pipeline.Regularly travels to customer sites with the purpose of managing the relationship between the business and customers by establishing and cultivating strong relationships with key individuals.Works with marketing, sales engineering groups, product line management, engineering, and contracts to implement sales strategies with respect to pricing, competition, delivery, and terms of sale.Develops tactical and strategic direction for market opportunities and presents a compelling analysis for capturing new business.Brings forward creative business cases to support new market entry or new product developmentProvides regular updates to senior sales / operations staff concerning account management, issues, funding, order status, etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.Active Security Clearance or relevant clearance eligibility 

Preferred Additional Skills:

Prior military service with strong JSOC and/or USASOC  experience preferred. SECRET eligibility minimum, Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferredMilitary tactical communications experience; strong experience in operating and maintaining tactical communications networks preferred. In lieu of operating tactical networks, a strong operational application of SOF tactical communications preferably in an operational environment. Experience working within the SOCOM capability development or acquisitions organizations (i.e. professional acquisition officer, requirements officer, Service Advocate/User Representative/Proponent, J-8/G-8/CDD experience) or selling to the SOCOM market. Understanding of the requirements development process and the acquisition process.
