L3Harris is currently seeking a Sr. Security / Vulnerability Research Engineer to join our team. This individual will perform reverse engineering tasks associated with vulnerability detection and manipulation of targeted systems. This position will primarily work at our dedicated facility in Palm Bay, FL. Essential Functions:

Conducting research for the purposes of finding new vulnerabilities and enhancing existing capabilitiesCircumventing security protection methods and techniquesReverse engineering complex systems and protocolsCreating detailed technical reports to document findings and writing proof of concept codeUnique skills required (i.e. expertise, location, etc.) Vulnerability Research, Hardware/Software/Firmware Reverse Engineering, Capability Development, Systems Engineering, Zero-Day Investigation, Compute/Network architectures, Embedded Environment Kernel DebuggingExperience working with Reverse Engineering Tools, such as: GDB, JTAG, Ghidra or IDA PRO (Hex-rays Decompiler).

Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, orGraduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
